    Job Designation: Magistrate
    Faction: Magistrate

    Powers: Shifter // Phaser

Personality: Cyrus likes to think of himself as a strong and compassionate man. He rules by example and would not ask someone to do something he would not be willing to do himself. Strict but fair whether he's raising and disciplining his children or his people. Sometimes his temper gets the better of him and he finds himself having to apologize to his children. He's the type of person that will do the lesser to two evils if he has to if he believes its what's best.

Born into a family of Shifters it wasn't that much of a surprise that Cyrus was one as well. His father had also been able a Phaser able to change the molecular density of his body. Raised in a family loyal to the Magistrate, Cyrus hadn't ever questioned why things were as they were. Not until he was in the last few years of his schooling at the Learning Center. There, he began to look up the things in the old texts and found that the world before the domes had been chaotic. It had been a mess and he was glad to have been born in the safety of the domes.

When he'd graduated, the Governor had debated over where to place him. When it was chosen that he'd be apprenticed as an Official, Cyrus was given even more information. He learned things that the people of the domes weren't privy to. He strived and worked hard and when he was thirty-five, was given the title Magistrate. When he'd been eighteen he'd been matched to Elaine. They had trouble conceiving a child but were happy when Leah came along when they were thirty-three.

He is now currently forty-nine with only six years left before he has to make a choice. Either exile which is the honorable thing or going below to the Undercity which is seen as cowardly. There is also the matter of choosing his successor.

    Sample Post:
The man's eyes stared up towards the top of the dome, gazing at the greenish hued sky. It appeared that way due to the blue forcefield he knew. The sky outside was actually an acidic yellow. The fact of the matter however was the truth couldn't be denied. The sky was changing. It didn't look as green as when he was a boy. Nor was it as dark and strange as it had been in the history texts. That combined with reports he had received from the Specialists had him believing that life outside the domes wasn't a matter of if but when.

Certainly it appeared as if he was sending out more scouts then his predecessor. The Vastus were making things difficult. They had yet to grasp the concept that they were not in fact helping the people, but harming and perhaps even damning them. They were why Cyrus had been so adamant about trying to scout for his successor. In just six scant years his term as well as his life would be over. Unless he chose the cowards way, which he would not. It went against everything he stood for and believed in. Besides, what would that show his children?

The sound of the airship brought him out of his musings. A smile played about his lips, the corner of Cyrus' blue eyes crinkled. His son would have been chatting his ear off telling him everything he knew about airships. Had Gilbert not been at the Learning Center with the other children, Cyrus knew his boy would have been the first on the ship.

Catching movement that caught his eye, he turned, gaze scanning the crowd making their way aboard. Brow creased, Cyrus warily chalked it up to paranoia. Stepping aboard the ship, he began to walk towars the upper deck when he was sure he was being hailed.
